Lace Top Pattern and Instructions Patterning 1. 2. 3. 4.

Print out all 4 sheets of paper Cut out each pattern piece and tape them together as shown here You will also need thin lace and thick lace Pin front piece to fabric and cut 2 pieces of fabric with the pattern right side up and then 2 pieces of fabric with the pattern wrong side up 5. Pin back piece to fabric and cut 2 pieces of fabric with the pattern right side up *Note* if your fabric is thick enough that you don’t need lining then only cut out 2 front pieces and 1 back

Sewing

1. Pin outside pieces and matching lining together with the right sides facing inward 2. Sew along the outside of the piece leaving a small spot to turn the pieces inside out 3. Turn each piece inside out so right sides are now outwards, sew them closed, and iron so that they look like the original 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

pattern piece Pin the two front pieces to the back (lining facing outwards) and sew along each shoulder and side as marked with the dash line above Sew thin lace around the neckline of the top (dotted lines on the front and back pieces) Sew thick lace around the arm holes Flip the pieces inside out so now the lining is facing inwards Sew thick lace around the bottom of the shirt (You can sew the thick lace on the outside of the top or inside depending on how much you want showing)
