Supplies: 1. Yarn 1.: the example is crocheted from Schachenmayr Catania Originals mercerized cotton yarn (except hair), 50g = 125m. You won't need a full skein of any color. I have used the following shades: – white: 00106 – skin: 00263 – gold: 0249 – strawberry: 00258 (for heart) 2. Yarn 2.: You might use any kind of textured (effect) yarn for the hair. The samples were crocheted with: – Light brown hair: Catia VIP – Dark brown hair: Yarnart Mink 333 – You might use eyelash yarn also. 3. Polyester fiberfill 4. Crochet hook: 2,5 mm, or in accordance with the yarn you use. 3,5 mm for the hair. 5. Stitch marker, or a little piece of a different color yarn. 5. Darning or embroidery needle. 6. One pair of 6 mm black safety eyes. 7. A little bit of brown eyeshadow and pink brush for shading the face. 8. 40 cm of black embroidery threed. 9. 30 cm of pink (strawberry) yarn piece. 10. 17 cm of plastic covered 2,5 mm wire. 11. You will also need some equipments to cut and shape your wire for the bow: pliers and nippers. 12. 10 cm of thin wooden stick. 13. 40 cm of sewing tread same color with the hair.

Abbreviations: --- Work in continuous rounds. Do not join or turn if not instructed in the pattern. --- It is suggested to use a stitch marker. Place it at the last stitch of the row and move it up when working always to the last stitches of the rows. Pattern may ask you to move your stitchmarker, this might happen for getting the color change to the proper place or for getting the proper shape. --- When finishing any of the body parts except the head leave a long yarntail (around 20 cm) which you can use by sewing. --- Fill the stuffing into the body parts while crocheting them. Be sure that you filled the legs and arms with same amount of fiberfill, so the left ones shape won’t be different than the right ones. --- Start color change always by the last step of the last sc you make before pattern calls for color changing. --- By the thinner parts, like legs arms and bow leave the starting yarntail the outside of the piece, so you will be able to fix it, and hide it into the piece with a help of an embroidery needle after finishing it.

Facing backside to eachother sew together the corners of the hearts with hiding the end of a 10cm wooden stick between them. You also might use some silicon or fabric glue to keep the stick in it’s place.

With the help of a knife make a tiny cut into the free end of the stick so you can place the jute rope into there. You might want to fix the bow onto your doll. Check out the pictures to see how you can sew it on.
