Tape Specification

KT Method

KT Method Medial Collateral Ligament of the Knee Movie for broad-band (300kbps) 



Patient position: neutral standing with the affected knee flexed to 90 degrees and lower leg rotated internally. Apply the base of the “Y” tape to the medial aspect of the proximal tibia.



Apply the Kinesio Tex with moderate to full (50-100%) available tension to the medial joint line of the knee over medial collateral ligament.

 

Return to the start position with the knee extended. Apply the ends of the “Y” tape with no tension along the adductor and semitendinosus muscles.
