Import Points Macro Update Minor updates to an existing macro

The Import Points Macro has been updated Due to a request from the C-Series engineers; the import points macro has an additional feature. It is now possible to apply names to the points automatically. When filling out the Excel sheet with the (X,Y,Z) coordinates of a point, if any text is put into the fourth column, that will be used as the name for the point which is created. If the fourth column is left blank, then the macro behaves the same as before, and points will be named Point.X where X just increments up. How to fill out the columns:

MBP Generation Macro Automates the generation of the deliverable to Bombardier

A new macro has been written to automate the generation of the Bombardier C-Series deliverable (MBP)

A user guide has been written and can be found in MyCatiaWorld -> V5 Goodies -> Docs -> “Automation — User Guide — MBP Generation” The macro starts with an end item assembly (for instance a top assembly or sub assembly) and generates a single catpart with all catparts converted into partbodies. The macro uses the Bombardier template to insure that the result is in the correct format.

It is also possible to process a batch of files at once.
